I'm seeking new friends here. I was a member of DJ quite a while ago. However couldn't remember the password or email addy I signed up with. So here I am signing up here again (someone was kinda enough to give me an invite just before they closed out their account). I'm gonna try and update a little more often than before. I do swear a tad in some of my entries, and I do like to post pictures of random things I take with my digi cam.

A little about myself,
I'm 42, female, married, childfree living in Ontario, Canada. I'm a fairly down-to-earth type of person.

My interests include: digital photography, baking, taking care of our home, listening to music, blogs/journal sites, getting together with my friends for coffee, shopping, running shoes aka sneakers, clothes, computers, internet, chatting, email, yahoo groups, helping people,online games at pogo, and much more.

A few of my favorite music artists: The Devlins, The Tea Party, Our Lady Peace, DMB, Lifehouse, top 40, most any 80s tunes, Eric Clapton, The Band, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, OMD, Jack Johnson, and more.

Fav foods: Pizza, homemade lasagna,choc chip cookies.
Fav Drinks: Coca Cola, Frozen Margaritas.

I'm a 31-year old married (11 years) mom of 2 in Upstate New York. I've had my DJ for a little over 3 years now. You can add me if you'd like but I have a few ground rules...

1. If all you're going to posts are quizzes and surveys...don't bother. I don't mind doing them if I find them interesting or if I'm bored, but if every entry you post is one of these things, I get really annoyed, really fast.
2. If you type in sTicKY CaPZ...fuck off.
3. Grammar is a definite +. I sometimes make all my words lowercase but at least they're spelled correctly. I'm pretty sure you took English in school.
4. I have alot of interests, as you can see in my userinfo. I'm sure my userinfo looks strange to you, maybe somewhat childish...but I am and forever will be a kid at heart.
5. You can comment on my entries if you like. In fact I don't care if you do or not. I don't expect people to comment on every little thing I post and (hope) you don't expect it from me. If I have something to comment on, I will. If I don't, don't assume I don't read your entries or don't care about them. I just don't feel the need to comment on every little single detail you post.

My entires vary in topic. I will sometimes rant about work or family life, post logs from my home away from home (the AOL wrestling chatroom), graphics I have made, (on occasion) interesting quizzes/surveys (I used to be one of those daily quiz posters until I saw how annoying that shit was), pictures of hot naked sexy men, or song lyrics I happen to enjoy. Depends on my mood.

As I said, if you add me, and I find you interesting, I will be more than happy to add you back.

I'm new sort of and I decided it's time to "friend" people. Hmm... what to say... I'm 19, I'm nice, but bitchy and I rant a lot.

I love music, food, pianos, anything that has to do with water, astrology, navel rings, fresh air, comedians.

I hate...
-People who can't spell or type LyKe dIs (Come on, our valuable tax dollars pays for your goddamn education, so you can spell right!)
-Stupid chicks who wear uggs (they're called uggs for a reason.. they're UGLY!), rainbow legwarmers (the 80's are over), and mini skirts in the dead of fucking winter.
-People who try to force you to believe what they believe.
-Bush(es).

Anyway, if you don't mind the fact that I don't update every single day then "friend" me. Sorry, I don't have a computer at home, so my updating is semi-sporadic.

What else... I go to college in Marin (if you know where that is). I'm in San Francisco. Well.. whatever you want to know, you can ask I guess. Don't know what else to put..

I'm on the hunt for more deadjournal friends.

I checked out this community and it seemed like a pretty good place to look. So I figured I'd join and give this a shot.

On with the introduction:

I'm 22, male, and I live outside of Buffalo, NY. I like punk rock music, movies, hockey, and comic books. Yeah, check out my info if you're really curious about finding out more. I'm no good with trying to explain what I like.

My journal is pretty much my constant bitching and complaining about my love life. I needed a place to vent and sort out my thoughts that couldn't be accessed by people that I don't want reading them. Hence, I made this here deadjournal and as far as I know none of my real life friends know about it; mission accomplished. My ramblings can get quite lengthy at times, but I enjoy getting comments/advice from strangers.

Oh so yeah I joined the so called group ;) Here's hoping it grows... I wish free members could search on ages, sucks that you can't. Not that I can only communicate with people my own age by any means, but, err, I dunno, I friggin hate feeling like I'm on constant guard against looking old and lame. I remember the first time that I attempted to join a community, it was a bit of a struggle, I can tell ya!! So I thought I'd help you all out: to post in here, you're gonna haveta join, which means you GO HERE and click the link at the very top that says: to join this community, click here!!! Anyway, it'll let you join and the next time you go to your update page, there should be a drop down box saying jounal to post in:, that you can change to over 18 (it doesn't change forevevr, just for that post!!). Anyway, good luck and if anyone feels like recruiting some more ppl, be my guest!!!
